Her skills with needle and thread were gifts that she shared with those that were passionate and willing to learn. She could look at everyday things and see a world of creative possibilities. She was an inspired teacher.
When times were dark she would find the light. There was no situation she could not handle with grace, strength, and humor.
There was this beautiful woman. She was a milliner, trained in the French Room method. She kept an art form alive and passed her knowledge on so that it would thrive in the hands of future generations.
There was this beautiful woman, and those who had the honor to study with her - to bond with her like sisters, friends, family - will carry her in their hearts always and treasure all that they had the chance to learn from her.
